Das übergeordnete Thema der breitseite war in der 16. Ausgabe „Reflexion“. In einer Zeit, in der Entwicklungen und Ereignisse uns mit atemberaubender Geschwindigkeit erreichen, gewinnt die Fähigkeit zur Reflexion noch mehr an Bedeutung. Die Rahmenbedingungen zur Erstellung der breitseite haben sich nicht verändert: 15 Wochen Vorlesungszeit, ca. 60 Studierende des fünften Semesters „Informationsmanagement und Unternehmenskommunikation“ (IMUK) mit fast 10 internationalen Gast-Studierenden – gecoached von Prof. Andrea Kimpflinger und Dipl.-Designerin Sabine Geller. Die Herausforderung war wie immer, alle Facetten einer Zeitschriftenproduktion abzudecken: von der Anzeigen-Akquise, Content Erstellung in Wort, Bild und Film, für das analoge Magazin und die digitalen Begleiter wie Website, Social Media, Video und Story Telling. Neu in dieser Ausgabe ist der unterstützende Einsatz von KI – die Studierenden konnten frei mit künstlicher Intelligenz und Tools wie ChatGPT, Perplexity, Adobe Firefly und anderen bei der Text- und Bild-Erstellung experimentieren und die Ergebnisse reflektieren, weiter verarbeiten und einsetzen.

The overarching theme of the 16th edition of the broadside was ‘Reflection’. At a time when developments and events are reaching us at breathtaking speed, the ability to reflect is becoming even more important. The framework conditions for the production of the broadside have not changed have not changed: 15 weeks of lectures, approx. 60 students in the fifth semester ‘Information Management and Corporate Communication’ (IMUK) with almost almost 10 international guest students – coached by Prof Andrea Kimpflinger and graduate designer Sabine Geller. As always, the challenge was to to cover all facets of magazine production: from advertising acquisition content creation in words, images and film, for the analogue magazine and the digital the digital companions such as the website, social media, video and story telling. New in this edition is the supportive use of AI – the students were able to work freely with artificial intelligence and tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Adobe Firefly and others in the creation of text and images and reflect on, process and utilise the results.
